Hi, I'm Lewis and I'm trying to fundraise to go on a life-changing 4 week volunteering trip to Tanzania with Camps International

I will work alongside local communities on important environmental and community project work, developed in partnership with locals to create sustainable change. I will be staying in unique African banda camps in the heart of rural Tanzanian villages. This is a truly action-packed trip in one of East Africa’s most amazing destinations.

The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to:

Raise the educational standards of developing communities within a rural district of Tanzania

Raise the living standards of developing communities, within a rural district of Tanzania

Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.

This expedition is extremely important to me because I feel that I will acquire and develop many important life skills.

As well as this I will help:

work on projects that are designed to make a significant and

lasting impact on the region’s most critical issues. Projects typically focus on:

Working on school improvement projects, where they may build or

renovate school buildings to create inspirational and stimulating learning

environments.

Building or renovating traditional houses for the homeless, elderly or

disabled.

Initiatives to provide a peaceful existence between humans and wildlife such as improving natural waterholes or building elephant deterrent and fences to safeguard the future of these incredible animals.

Your money will be used to pay for my travel as well as important vaccinations I need for Tanzania.
