If you haven't heard already, our mutual friend, Anthony Lewis and his loving family have run into a serious challenge and need our help. About two years ago, Anthony was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The cancer is inoperable and unfortunately, already has spread to his liver. Numerous rounds of chemotherapy have held the disease back for some time. But as often is the case, the chemotherapy is no longer effective. Sadly, Anthony has now been placed on hospice care.

Why we need your help: While Anthony is technically eligible for Social Security, benefits will not begin until this Fall. Unfortunately, this doesn’t address his families' immediate needs.
