Lewis Bingham

As many of you are aware on January 4th, 2020 Lewis Bingham was taken to the hospital. He had inflammation and pressure on the brain from an infection causing complications. He was transferred to Emory in downtown Atlanta where they completed a lumbar puncture to drain and reduce the swelling while they administered antibiotics. This was followed by surgery where the Doctors took a biopsy and cleaned up the infected area in the brain. The results indicated Lymphoma. Lewis was moved to the Oncology building yesterday after a month in the ICU to start treatment including chemo.

The outreach and desire to do something for Lewis and his family from the entire wireless industry has been great. I have tried and will continue to keep all of you updated with his status as this develops. As an option for those who desire to support Lewis’ family with meals, chores, and transportation during this difficult time, we have created this page.
