Lewis' Bar Mitzvah Project - Collecting shoes

Want to join me in making a difference? For my Bar Mitzvah project, I'm raising money and collecting shoes or cleats for underprivileged kids. I am a big shoe fan, but recently I have seen that friends from school and teammates on my sports teams aren't able to get a good pair of shoes or cleats. My goal is to collect or raise enough money to provide 180 pairs of shoes to kids in my area that are less fortunate than I am. I will donate 100% of the shoes and money I collect to the Jacob S. Zweig Foundation, Inc., a non-profit that provides shoes, backpacks, and school supplies to local children in need. A $50 donation will help them offer a great pair of shoes, but any donation will help make an impact. Your monetary donation will be tax deductible.
