Our Dad, who has always been the most hard-working, self-driven, willing to lend a hand guy, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer at 57 years old. He is our whole world and we are all still trying to process this difficult situation.

His symptoms began in mid-November which progressed quickly and since then it's been a whirlwind. He has been through so much these last 2 months so we would like to ease his mind for the next step of his journey. Last week he began receiving chemo and radiation treatments at Mayo in Rochester, MN. They recommended that he stay at the Hope Lodge during the week, so he isn't traveling 1.5 hours each way per day. Every single week has been a new challenge for him to overcome, so we are thankful he is so close to the hospital. We have had family and friends reach out asking how they could help and we felt this could be the best start in helping to ease the financial burden. We are so thankful for our Bonus-Mom, Sandy, who is able to be with him the entire time and care for him which is a huge undertaking.
