Lewellen Family

On November 12th, Russ Lewellen Jr. passed away after suffering a heart attack. Our hearts go out to his wife Laura and his four sons: Russell, Kyle, Sebastian, and August. To say that Russ will be missed is an understatement.  Russ was truly a selfless and caring person and loved his family.  

Russ Lewellen was a coach for Cheyenne Mountain Wrestling Club for many years and helped start the club.  For those of you who were lucky enough to know Russ, we know several things: Russ was selfless.  He would do anything for anybody at any time.  He could always be counted on.    He was a true family man.  He placed his family above all else.  Russ was an extremely positive person and brought laughter to all.  Thank you Russ for everything that you did for us.  You will NEVER be forgotten.

As fellow coaches, parents, and wrestlers, we owe a part of ourselves to this man.  Whether we knew it at the time or not, he made us all better. 

We all need to come together to raise as much money as possible to help Laura and Family.  There will be funeral costs that will be needed very soon, so it would be nice to get some money to Laura soon.
