Levon- ITP Warrior

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am raising funds for our family member, Levon. After a very scary day of lots of blood and running between multiple vets, Levon was sent into the ICU at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital and diagnosed with Immune mediated thrombocytopenia (ITP). In ITP, the dog's own immune system attacks and destroys his or her platelets. Many dogs do well and live happy lives with this condition however, it is going to take time, 24/7 care, blood transfusions, and medications to get Levon stable and hopefully to a point of remission. Levon is not in any pain. Levon is lethargic from his body fighting but continues to wag his tail and ask for belly rubs. We are going to continue to fight with him and we hope you will too. I know things are very hard for eveyone right now but any little bit will help us. Thank you.
