Levolosi Hospital is overflowing with passionate doctors and nurses trying to serve the people of Tanzania with insufficient resources. Like many healthcare centers in Tanzania, Levolosi lacks basic equipment like pulse oximeters, blood pressure cuffs, beds, and sanitation equipment. Immunocompromised HIV patients are often treated without gloves or masks because the hospital cannot afford to buy those materials while keeping their services affordable to the average Tanzanian. We would also love to provide chairs and a table so the hospital can have a private consultation room, giving patients the basic right of privacy when receiving life-changing medical news. Despite these deficits, every nurse and doctor is committed to providing the best patient care with the resources they can afford. We would like to aid Levolosi by purchasing them some basic materials and letting them know that their friends across the world stand with them in their fight to provide healthcare to every person regardless of socioeconomic position.
