Hi, my name is Chantay; my son Levoire Simmons, was a very energetic and bright young man full of life. Our son was only sixteen when his beautiful life was cut tragically short due to senseless violence in northeast DC on July 5, 2022. Levoire was a lovable young man who loved to work with his hands, building anything from Lego structures to helping his father with carpentry work. During the summer months, Levoire was well known for his car washing and detail services and for selling water to earn. Levoire attended John Tyler elementary school in southeast DC, Seed public Charter school, Phillips school VA, and Villiage Academy in Maryland. This unexpected tragedy has hit our family very hard, and we are asking for help to assist us with the cost of burial expenses. No amount is too small, and any amount will be greatly appreciated.
