Levi's Gift
For years, Levi has dreamed of working in search and rescue: applying his sense of the landscape and terrain while helping folks in the outdoors.  Levi has found a program that will help bridge his knowledge of the outdoors with the practical aspects of service. Here is an opportunity for Levi and those of us who love him to join together!

The Program
For over 50 years, the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) has been offering hands-on education in leadership and wilderness medicine skills.  After four weeks of classroom education, practical skills, scenarios, and full-scale mock rescues, Levi will be ready to handle medical emergencies in the wilderness, or in town, or at Spirit Pine. 

Levi will  earn both  EMT and Wilderness EMT certifications. Therefore,  preparing him for work on an ambulance, for an outdoor organization, a land management agency, or in search and rescue (his dream job).
