Hi everyone! Our sweet boy Levi is needing CCL surgery called TPLO. A CCL is the dog version of ACL humans have. He has a complete CCL tear in his back right leg. We think he had a partial tear for a while with an on and off limp but thought it was his luxating patella (slip knee cap). This usually causes a dog to limp a little if their knee cap slips out of place but it’s usually able to fall back into place on its own. We believe he completely tore his CCL while we were camping a couple of months ago. This is when the limp became consistent and his back right leg became completely non weight bearing. This surgery is going to help Levi be able to be a dog again. If all goes as planned he will be able to go on walks again, go on hikes, play, and run! All the things that make a happy dog!! We are extremely grateful for any and all help that we receive in support of getting Levi back up and running again! Thank you so much!
