I went to the clinic because I thought I had the flu. Three hours later the doctor called me back and told me I had leukemia and would be flown to Seattle the next day. That was on 2/8/18 and I have been in Seattle receiving excellent care ever since. My leukemia was treated with chemo and then a stem cell transplant. My prognosis is excellent and I am healing and on the mend.

Even though I have been unable to work or earn an income, all of my usual bills have been arriving right on schedule. The goal of this fundraiser is to help get me back on my feet and begin the triumphant return to my life! That means paying what needs to be paid, and hopefully treating myself and those that have taken care of me through this entire episode to a little bit of fun.
