Hello Family and Friends. As most of you know, we lost our sweet 3-year old boy Levi on Valentine's Day this year. It all happened so suddenly and so many of you walked beautifully with us in so many ways and we are truly grateful. Shortly after our loss, I was approached by Rae of Sunshine Foundation, which helps to build memorial gardens for families who have lost young children. After some discussions, we came up with a plan to create a garden at a place where Levi spent so much of his time.....church!
Long Grove Community Church was like a second home for Levi, and he loved going. He particularly enjoyed seeing everyone, learning about Jesus, and, of course, playing in the playground (especially on the swings). As we reflected on everything, we landed on creating an outdoor area next to the playground to honor Levi's brief life here on earth. Our desire is to create something that reminds us of him, but also provides a beautiful outdoor space for others to find solitude and peace.
With that said, we would like to announce the Levi Rhett Legacy Garden. A garden that we pray will bring comfort to many and something that will allow Levi's life to continue to touch others for many years to come. This garden will also embody many aspects of things that brought Levi joy, such as globe lights that resemble the bubbles he loved, as well as stones in the shape of guitar picks (since he always had to have one in his hand), an interactive music wall as Levi loved to both listen and play music, as well as benches that face the swings he spent so much time enjoying.
We would like to ask if you would consider supporting our efforts to honor our son. All donations will go straight to the Rae of Sunshine Foundation in support of our goal. We would be so honored for you to help make this beautiful creation out of such a tragic loss. Would you please consider a donation that will help Levi's life impact others for years to come? God bless you all and thank you!
