Help Struggling LevelUp Game Zone in Houston

52439328_1604876237497456_r.jpegLevel Up Game Zone opened up in Spring, Texas officially on September 28, 2019. After researching for the best systems in the industry, and putting their family savings, the Mirza family opened their very first business as new immigrants to the US. While the first few months seemed promising, as word spread out, and locals came in, the business fell gravely right after COVID-19. With these unprecedented times, families are staying in, and are only going out for essentials such as grocery, their jobs, etc. This small family owned business is struggling to pay the store’s rent, utilities, etc. as well as their own apartment’s rent and grocery. While the owner tries to keep the business open, he has to work around the opening hours, just to make sure the family’s basic needs are met. As the sole breadwinner in the family, Ovais Mirza keeps the business open all week, works for a delivery service to make some money, and makes sure to keep his elderly parents comfortable with their basic and medical needs met at home. As the business struggles, the Mirza family now only hope to get back their savings, so they can start afresh. The Mirza family will need around $65,000 to get their savings back, and start a new and more promising life in the US.

The Mirza family came to the United States recently. Ovais’s mother and family moved from Pakistan last year, and sought to build a new life here. They took their life savings from Pakistan, and were ready to invest into a business that they felt would be a lively and promising addition to the Spring area. The family sought to open up a new and exciting virtual reality gaming zone. Research was done to find the best machines, that would be welcoming to all ages. Each part of the store was created with love to make it an exciting place that everyone would love to come to. Each light fixture, poster, picture, TV screen etc. was hand selected and brought together to create the perfect ambience for a virtual reality gaming zone.

The family excitedly opened up their doors to the public, after months of work being put in to create the perfect place.

How you can help:

Ovais Mirza and his family do not have the funds to keep this business going. They are barely able to pay off the business’s running expenses, that any profit for home expenses has become a dream.

Ovais’s goal is to raise enough money so he can close this struggling business, and get the money back that he and his family invested into this business. With their life savings in hand, and a promise to a better life in the US, Ovais’s parents did not foresee that their life here would lead to such despair. Once their home and medical expenses are paid, the Mirzas want to use the money they raise to invest in a running business that would do well in these pandemic times.
