After nearly a decade of illness and countless hospital visits, Sarah has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. This news comes after an eight year long battle with bone marrow failure — a condition that was caused by exposure to toxins at the school where she began her teaching career 20 years ago.

This coming Tuesday, she will begin a month-long hospitalization two hours from home to undergo intense treatment. This means she will be separated from her daughters, Claire and Chloe. If you know them, you know how hard this time will be.

Sarah is facing overwhelming medical bills, housing costs, transportation costs, and the daily financial burden of trying to maintain stability for the girls.

Claire and Chloe have shown incredible resilience throughout their mother’s long illness. Providing them with a sense of comfort, security, and normalcy would mean the WORLD. Especially while everything around them feels uncertain. Your support will help ensure they stay close to the routines that bring them peace.

We are also asking friends and supporters to consider donating blood if you are eligible. Patients with leukemia often rely on frequent transfusions to survive as in Sarah's case.
