In loving memory of Leueen - Cancer Sucks

On behalf of our family we firstly thank you for taking the time to read our story and for contributing to our cause that was so important to our mum and her final days.

With the help of Peninsula Home Hospice specialist care, not only for our mum but her loved ones, she wouldn’t have been afforded the dignity, care, comfort and compassion that she deserved.

PHH allowed us to share in mums final days in the comfort of her home, where she was surrounded by her loved ones and enabled her to share her wish to be at home with her husband, children, brother and grandchildren for Christmas.

Without this specialist service particularly during the pandemic we would not have been able to create new and everlasting memories with our mum.

We would love to donate to this wonderful organisation to ensure others are able to access this support and create their own special memories, during their loved ones life limiting illness.

We are eternally grateful for the service and all it provided for our family.

(The principal activity of Peninsula Home Hospice is to provide specialist palliative care that optimises quality of life for those in their care, and honours their hope for choice, dignity, comfort and peace. Peninsula Home Hospice is available to people living at home with a life threatening illness, and their family and friends. Services are provided to people living within the Mornington Peninsula Shire, the City of Frankston and part of the City of Kingston.)
