LEU Law Enforcement United Memorial Ride
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
This May I am joining the Law Enforcement United (LEU) Road to Hope Ride (on bike) from Chesapeake, Virginia to Washington, D.C. during Police Memorial Week. The mission of LEU is to honor the fallen and remember the survivors through many areas of support.
I will be riding in memory of my dad Officer Shawn Silvera. He was killed in the line of duty on September 6th, 2005 by an impaired driver. He's been my hero growing up for his bravery, honesty, and kindness. He'd spent his life doing nothing but serve others out of the kindness of his heart. I love my dad and only wish I could have him here walking by my side.
This ride is important to me because for starters it's a great way to start police week. As far back as I can remember it was so joy filling to see all these riders ride through the police memorial on the first day of police week. It also shows a great support in the law enforcement community, each person has a story and a reason why they ride.
Any donation you can make big or small will greatly help the cause. The money specifically helps COPS Kids Camp, Youth Camp, College Scholarships for Surviving children, Project Active Armor and The Officer Down Memorial Page for officers and K9s.
Thank you for thinking of me and helping me. I love you all. --Jordan
