We're bringing ice skating to Kortrijk but we need your help!
Met de plotselinge sluiting van ijsbaan Finlandia eind mei, verdween de enige ijsbaan in Zuid-West-Vlaanderen. De ijshockey- en kunstschaatsclubs moesten dringend op zoek naar een andere locatie.
200 sporters stonden in de kou, net zoals de duizenden schaatsers uit scholen, jeugdbewegingen, ...
Wie ging als kind nooit schaatsen?
Samen met de stad Kortrijk is een oplossing gevonden om een tijdelijke ijsbaan te creëren.
De tijdelijke ijsbaan van 60 x 26 meter komt in een fabriekspand dat op een herbestemming wacht.
De locatie is makkelijk bereikbaar langs de R8 en toch dicht bij het centrum.
Er zijn ruim voldoende parkeerplaatsen en voor wie met het openbaar vervoer wil komen is er een bushalte aan de ingang.
In onze gezellige bar heb je een ruim zicht op de ijsbaan.
Voor het bouwen van een tribune, kleedkamers en doucheruimtes voor de sportclubs hebben we uw steun nodig.

When Finlandia abruptly closed its doors at the end of last season, our skaters, both hockey players and figure skaters alike, were left with no place to train.
With no other facilities in the area, we urgently needed to find a location for a new rink.
Together with Kortrijk we've found a solution with a temporary ice rink.
The funds we are looking to rise will go towards rink material, dressing rooms and showers for our clubs.

Suite à la fermeture soudaine de Finlandia fin du mois de mai, la dernière patinoire restante dans le Flandre Occidentale du sud a disparu.
Les clubs de hockey sur glace et de patinage artistique étaient impérativement obligés d’aller à la recherche d’un autre emplacement.
Avec le soutien de Courtrai nous avons trouvé une solution temporaire.
Nous osons faire appel à vous pour un petit soutien financier pour construire une tribune , des vestiaires et douches pour notre clubs.
