Time to Rally The Troops!
As many of you know, Suzy Davidson has been an incredibly giving person that would do anything for those closest to her or even a stranger. Suzy has always welcomed people with open arms and a helping hand. She has been a wonderful mentor, friend and motivator for many that have had the pleasure of knowing her. Suzy gives and gives, but rarely does she ever ask for help. It is time to give Suzy some help and this is the best way I could think to do that.
Some of you know, but many do not, that Suzy and her husband Bob left Indiana and her lifelong career in New Construction Sales to care for her ailing and elderly Mom and Step-Dad after they were involved in a bad car accident. This move proved to be much more challenging and long term than I believe they ever realized. Suzy's new life became that of a round the clock nurse, cook, driver, cleaner, household manager and many more things that are normally provided by a paid staff at a nursing home or hospital for 2 individuals. I have watched as Suzy waited on them both hand and foot to provide them the best quality of life. Suzy cared for her Step-Dad Bill (who her Mom married in older age) like he was her Dad. She truly loved Bill and made sure that he had the best quality of life she could give until the very end. Now she continues to do that for her Mom in spite of tremendous mounting challenges. Suzy does all of these things while giving everything she has to build a successful Essential Oil/Wellness Business with doTERRA so that when her Mom has passed, she and Bob will be able to survive financially. Remember, she gave up a 6 figure income to serve her Mom and Step-Dad without any guarantee of how long it might be or how it might financially impact them. They needed her and she went without question. She does all of these things while being an incredible Grandmother that was always keeping her Grandchildren around and involved. She does all of these things and has cared for Bob as well who also has health challenges. She does all of these things when she was not in good health and needed her own care. She does all of these things when mentally and phyically most of us would say, I can't take this burden any more. She does them because she is Suzy and she has a heart to serve.
The reason I am setting up this account is because I feel like it is time to rally around Suzy and show her how much she means to us all so we can make her burden just a little lighter. Suzy's Mom is in bad shape and her continued medical issues have put a huge financial burden on her Mom and Suzy on top of Bob's already very expensive health costs for his issues. Due to recent issues, her Mom has been in Hospice and Rehab and now coming back home requiring round the clock care at a level that Suzy can no longer manage, but has no choice except to have her at home. Suzy has already suffered a horrific ordeal this summer when she was car jacked in Florida with her Grandchildren in the car. She lost a lot of cash that she had just been paid, her purse and many other valuable belongings and was injured trying to fight off the theif. Insurance would not cover any of it. In Sept, Suzy suffered a bad fall at our doTERRA Convention in Salt Lake City that left her with a broken arm up near the shoulder. She is right handed and of course it was her right arm. This break has caused Suzy to be in a lot of continuous pain and caused a loss of range of motion in that arm. This will make Suzy's ability to lift her very frail Mom, bathe and dress her Mom an almost impossible task. This means that they need to bring in very costly help just to do basic task for her Mom. Also, insurance is not what it used to be and Suzy's medical costs for her arm are mounting fast. If that isn't enough, Suzy is involved in a very important program with doTERRA called Diamond Club, which requires Suzy to travel a lot until the end of Nov. This program is critical for her to do to get her business to the level she needs to be financially stable after her Mom passes. It has been even more difficult for her to do what she needs to do for her with everything that has been going on and a broken arm to top it off.
If we could ease even just a little burden by helping with a few of these mounting expenses, it would make such a difference in their lives right now when things seem so bad. So many of us have been blessed beyond measure by Suzy and I hope that we can each give just a little something back to show her how much her giving spirit has made a differnce in our lives. Even if you are having many struggles yourself and can't give a little right now. Please lift them all up in prayers! They could all really use some right now.
