On October 19,2016 at 6:15 PM, Ruby was involved in a serious two-vehicle crash. Ruby and her boyfriend were driving back home after a date when, for yet unknown reasons, had a head on collision. The driver in the other vehicle died on the scene, Ruby and her boyfriend had to be extricated from the vehicle and then were airlifted to the nearest hospital.

Ruby suffered multiple serious, and some even life threatening, injuries including 6 broken ribs, a broken tibia, a punctured lung, and several fractures to her facial bones. She also suffered internal bleeding and had to undergo emergency surgery to stabilize her.
Ruby underwent surgery for a second time a few days later to help repair and reset her tibia/knee.

Ruby is unable to walk due to all of her injuries and will require extensive in-home physical therapy, as well as home health nurse care, in order to regain her mobility.
Due to unforeseeable events, Ruby recently lost her medical insurance and unfortunately will be liable for all her medical expenses.
