Let's Help Little John
Donation protected
"Little" John O'Connor is a 5 year old battling b-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma and if the name sounds scary, it's because it is.
When you're 5 years old, your biggest worry should be getting the first swing during recess or fighting with your 3 year brother on who gets to play on the Power Wheels first and not whether or not you'll get to live to see 6.
The doctors at Dana-Farber Children's Hospital in Boston have been incredible with helping Little John adapt to his the many surguries, ports, hair loss, and weakness the chemotherapy has caused.
Little John keeps on smiling tho. It bothers him that he can't go outside and play like all the other kids, but he knows that once he is done being sick, he'll feel better and hopefully be back to school by the end of the year.
I created this GoFundMe because there are so many things that aren't accounted for when you spend 24 hours a day/7 days a week in the hospital caring for your child. Little John has brightened my day every single time I've met him since the first day he was born and my hope is to raise some money so that WHEN he gets better and WHEN he's cancer free, he and his family will be able to handle post care and life outside the hospital walls a little easier thanks to all of you.
Little John has always looked up to his dad who is a policeman and his mom who is a nurse as superheroes but I think we can all agree that sometimes real superheroes live in the hearts of small children, fighting big battles,
Thank you for your donation.
