Help us give my Aunt Joyce the dignity of a proper burial!! Every little bit will help!
My dear Aunt Joyce, my Godmother, who was like a sister to me passed away unexpectedly on August 4th at only 55 years old. She was a very special person who struggled physically/emotionally with Bronchiectasis, a severe lung disease caused from an infection when she was young, which both she and my Aunt Roxane have now passed from.
Please help my family give her the dignity of a proper burial with my Aunt Roxane, and my Granparents.
Aunt Roxane passed away at only 21 and it was very difficult emotionally for Joyce ever since. Nonetheless, Joyce spent her whole life taking care of others. Joyce was an excellent Nurses Aid before her illness stopped her from working. Unfortunately, we are left with trying to pay for her funeral expenses and burial costs as there were no provisions to take care of them. PLEASE find it in your heart to help us grant my Aunt Joyce’s final request and consider a donation to help give her send off she deserves.
Though her illness was terminal, it did not stop her from living, loving or taking care of those she loved, particularly my Uncle Nicky who is Autistic or her husband Tony who was confined to a wheel chair and nursing home after an accident. He passed last year.
She left this world with nothing, but in her eyes she had everything because she believed in God’s plan for her. It didn’t bother her because she always said; "You can't take it with you when go". She always thought and gave to others financially and materially even though she didn’t have it herself. What she did have was enough to take my uncle out on Sundays and visit her husband to ensure both were happy.
Joyce's faith was tested many times, particularly with the loss of my grandparents and then last year her husband past away. She held on as long as she could because of her faith and got through each day since with a bible verse ready, just like my grandmother did, to put people at ease. Her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and devout faith are what people will remember.
