Please meet our awesome co-worker David Deliard. David’s an artist, designer, Game of Thrones genius, Cards Against Humanity champion, and an overall good time.
Basically, David’s a great guy who’s had a horrible year.
In fewer than six months he’s been hospitalized twice for heart complications, lost his mother to a stroke, and been hospitalized again more recently, for gall bladder issues. After doctors decided to perform surgery to remove his gall bladder, it left him with some internal bleeding which had to be followed up with a second surgery. After that surgery, he suffered further complications leading to him needing dialysis, then admitting him to the ICU where he was on a respirator because he had developed pneumonia on top of everything else.
The good news is, David is starting to turn the corner toward better health. His sister Sandra told us he’s off the respirator as of yesterday (August 2nd) but it’s going to be a slow climb to full recovery.
Between medical bills and funeral expenses, David has found 2016 costing more than any 27-year-old should have to handle on his own. We want him to focus on healing without the burden of bills and the stresses they come with. So, let’s help him make a dent in some of these expenses so he can get back to being the worry-free guy he was before his life got flipped around.
Dave’s NOT the type of guy to ever reach out for a helping hand, but we know it would mean a lot to him during such a difficult time. Please share!
