Hi my name is Chris Skiles, along with Joe and Aubrey Moran and Branden Berhenke, we'd like to tell you about a special couple, Josh and Tressa, they are my family and family to many in the Quad Cities area.

Today Mother Nature was the winner of the game.

Josh and Tressa Starkweather have operated a batting cage in Colona, Illinois for the past seven years. Softball is their way of life. They made a commitment to girls in the softball community to instruct and develop many local girls in their softball careers. These ladies have come from as far as Dubuque, Omaha, Indiana and as far as Canada.

Josh dedicates every free moment he has there coaching the girls, helping them to become the best athletes they can be. Helping them chase their dreams.

An EF2 went through their town, the practice building and contents, all bats, balls, nets and turf were a total loss.

They need our help to continue the dream. Let’s help cover the loss of the equipment that will be needed to bring them back online when a new location is found.
