ਦੀਵਾਲੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਰਸਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੁਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿੰਨੀਪੈਗ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀ ਖਬਰ ਨੇ ਝੰਝੋੜ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ!
ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀ 20-21 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਮਣੀਕ ਕੌਰ ਜੋ ਕੇ ਵਿਨਿਪਗ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜੀ ਦੂਰ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿਚ ਜੋਬ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ ਇੱਕ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ! ਆਓ ਇਨਸਾਨੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਕੁੜੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤੇ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਦੀ ਚੀਸ ਨੂੰ ਥੋੜਾ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੀਏ ! ਬਾਕੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਵਿਚ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ !
ਇਥੇ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕੇ ਆਰ ਸੀ ਐੱਮ ਪੀ ( RCMP ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਟਿੱਪਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਲ ਅਖਬਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡਿਆ ਦੀ ਅਣਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਦਾਜਾ ਨਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ !
 
My name is Sumit Chawla, residents of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ramneek was a very good friend. She originally belonged to Jalandar, INDIA. She got graduated from toronto and moved here in winnipeg recently. All the funds that we raised will be used for her funeral and for her deportation expenses. And left over funds will get donated to her family. These funds will get debited from the bank account in the presence of all the account holders. Documentation will be kept for any further necessities. To complete all the documentation; one of her family member will visit here in winnipeg very soon.
