What is Your Show?

Your Show is an idiot space odyssey rock opera about our inner misfit that will totally blow you away. But in the guise of a rock show and ted talk fever dream. Told through the lens of non-binary comedian John Miller Giltner, the show uses song, dance and succinct, well-timed bullet points to tease out our true inner selves. While filled to the brim with angst, the inspiring work encourages us to embrace our inner misfit and aspiring titles. Purportedly auto-biographical, Your Show focuses on John Miller’s work life, queerness, and family as a deeper metaphor for how identity is rooted in community and performance. It’s hard to be a DJ without us validating you that you’re a DJ, so let’s use my pronouns, okay? Because sometimes, just being our true selves is enough to change the world.

Who am I?

John Miller Giltner (they/them) is a stupid idiot and devising clown comedian who knows the exact amount of unprofessionalism the professional world needs. Performing comedy all across the United States, their work seeks to sow positive chaos, inviting audiences into a discombobulated world that shines a light on our inner misfits. In John Miller’s work, community, family, and sick jokes take center stage. Joy and fun are stage left. Stage right is a whole space for you to find you and also contains a lot of John Miller’s angst. And backstage, a big warm hug.
