If you grew up in Jenks, Oklahoma, chances are you know the name Athanie Leeviraphan—and if you know Athanie, you know what it means to have a true friend.

Athanie was a fixture on the baseball fields of Jenks High School, a talented second baseman with a quiet confidence and a heart full of grit. But more than his skill on the diamond, it was Athanie’s loyalty, kindness, and unshakable faith that made him stand out. He wasn’t just a teammate—he was the one you could count on, the one who would drop everything to help someone in need.

That same strength and character have defined Athanie’s life long after high school. Together with his amazing wife Christine, Athanie has raised three incredible children in the Tulsa area, continuing to lead with love, humility, and a deep devotion to Jesus Christ. He lives his faith every day, not just in words, but in action—encouraging others, praying with friends, and serving however he can.

In recent years, Athanie has faced a series of difficult health challenges that have kept him from working. Most recently, he’s been struggling with pulmonary issues due to blockages, making it hard for him to breathe and get around. Despite these hardships, Athanie continues to inspire those around him with his perseverance, spirit, and unwavering faith.

Now, it’s our turn to be there for him.
