Hello! My name is Whitney Simpson. I am the sister in law to Mike and Melissa Peterson. Melissa is my husband’s sister.

For those who don’t know, Mike has been battling a brain tumor for over a year. He has been a FIGHTER through and through.

In December of 2022 Mike was hit with the devastating news that he had a brain tumor. Throughout the last year, he has had 4 brain surgeries and many treatments. A few months ago we were presented with the news that the tumor had spread further into inoperable locations within his brain.

If we want to talk about an outstanding family, it’s the one I married into. The Peterson Family is made of gold. Mike and Melissa have 4 kids. Drake (who is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Uruguay), Madelyn, Cache and McKay.

This family has been through so much and would still give the shirts off of their backs to anyone in need. As medical bills continue to accumulate, as well as other impending expenses, I am hoping we can all come together and help them in this heartbreaking time!

Those of us that have had the pleasure of knowing Mike can agree that he is one in a million, he still is and always will be. He has brought so much joy into our lives!

We love him, we love the entire Peterson family and want to support them in anyway possible.
