Let’s support Sergeant Vance and his family

I am sure most of you heard the news , Sept 20th, two HPD Police officers were shot. The officer that survived was one of our own neighbour's.  He was shot multiple times and after a 3.5 hour surgery he is stable. He has a long road of recovery ahead and will be out of work for an extensive time. Let’s show them some community love

 

 

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help them with medical bills, mortgage, groceries and keeping boys in baseball etc.  Michael’s face is hidden due to security reasons. 

 

UPDATE 9/22/21

I just wanted to take the time while Michael is finally getting rest to say how much  I truly appreciate the love and support from everyone.  Your love and prayers are overwhelmingly the only thing I felt and are so comforting.    The surgery went well but he is in ton of pain.  Bullet went through stomach and out hip and has fractured his hip on the exit.   Both intestines were severed and had to be cut and repaired. Not even a millimeter away from hitting his main artery!  Thank God it was missed.  Please pray infection does not set in from his intestines being severed.    Long road ahead and the next 4 days are crucial to watch for infection and his intestines to start functioning.   I am so thankful he is here but we are mourning the loss of his Brother Bill or "Big Bill" as Michael so lovingly called him. It is hitting him really hard. Bill was one of the hardest working and loyal officers and will be missed dearly.    Please continue to lift Suzanne up in prayer and for the whole Jeffrey family as this is the most difficult trial they will ever go through.   God Bless you all
