Let's Support Sean

Hi, my name is Matt, and I am fundraising for my cousin, Sean Olgin. Sean was diagnosed with cancer recently and I have created this page to raise money for him and his family as they face the challenges this will bring, including a year-long journey of treatment and recovery.

 

For those of you who don't already know, I would like to briefly tell you about Sean and what kind of person he is. Technically he is my cousin but we are truly brothers in every sense. I have always looked up to him and stood in amazement at the way he has conducted himself in life as a husband, father, son, friend, mentor, boss, coach, employee and every other relationship he's had. People naturally gravitate to him because he has a special light and a goodness that is wholly encompassing and infectious. He is a class act with a heart and sense of humor like no other I've known. Many of you reading this know exactly what I am talking about because Sean has touched so very many people in his life. Whether it's staying an extra hour on the soccer field to help one of the kids on his team, adding extra flowers to a bouquet for one of his old customers, taking care of his ailing father, being the always selfless devoting father to his girls, tirelessly working himself to the bone to provide for his family or being there to pick me up during the darkest period of my life, he constantly shows up with love, laughs and unconditional support for anyone in need. I can go on and on with examples of his compassion and generosity. Giving is in his DNA and always has been. Let's now give back.

 

In closing, I'd just like to say that Sean and I have been through a hell of a lot together. Among the ups and downs, he has always been my touchstone and I am so unbelievably grateful to have him in my life as I am sure all of you are as well.  I'll be damned if cancer is going to disrupt that. He is entering into this fight with fierce determination, great spirit and an incredibly positive attitude. I ask that you all join me with him in saying F*** cancer and support Sean, Stacey and their girls in any way you can by donating any amount that works for you so that Sean can focus this next year solely on his treatment, getting well and beating cancers ass! We are all with you. You've got this. I love you so much brother and when you are all better, Vegas is waiting for us!
