Let's support Sadie

Our friend, Sadie Okamura, traveled to Toronto to attend a conference. While there, she fell and broke her right thigh bone in 4 pieces. She needed to have immediate surgery to put the bones back in place. It was complicated because she had both a hip and knee replacement on the same side, necessitating a metal plate, wires and screws to hold the bones in place. She has stayed immobile in the hospital 4,700 miles away from home for over a month. Sadie has accumulated more than $200,000 in hospital and doctor bills and needs help to pay down some of this debt.

We are hoping to bring Sadie home to Hawaii before her 82nd birthday on October 27th. Sadie has a kind heart, pure intentions, and would never ask for any assistance.
