Help Support Phoebe Goodwin and Her Family

Phoebe Goodwin has spent her life giving to others. She is a lifelong resident of Winchester, a former Peace Corps volunteer, a dedicated teacher (both in AZ and in Winchester Public Schools), a hard-working Girl Scout volunteer, a devoted daughter, and an incredible mom to two wonderful girls. Phoebe has always been someone who makes a difference in the lives of those around her.

Recently, Phoebe and her family received devastating news: Phoebe has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Phoebe has had to stop teaching — a job she loves — so that she can focus on her health and spend precious time with her family. This has a huge impact on the family's finances given that Phoebe is the sole parent and breadwinner for her family.

We are asking our community to come together to support Phoebe and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised through this effort will help ease the financial burden of medical expenses, household and everyday costs, and the many unexpected expenses that come with navigating cancer treatment and time away from work.

Just as importantly, we want to help Phoebe and her girls make special memories together and enjoy meaningful time as a family during a very difficult chapter in their lives.

Phoebe has spent years caring for and teaching the children of Winchester. She has given so much to this community, and now we have an opportunity to surround her and her girls with that same care.

This fundraiser was created by Phoebe's friends to surround her and her girls with love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will be administered by Phoebe's sister, who will ensure that the funds are used to support Phoebe and her family now and, as circumstances change, to help support her daughters in the future.
