My friend Paula is facing another battle with cancer. Her initial diagnosis of breast cancer was in 2018 and fortunately chemotherapy, radiation, and a double mastectomy put her in remission. She's been enjoying road trips, working for GrubHub, and spending time with Tammy and their kids.

Sadly earlier this month Paula and her wife's world was turned upside-down again. After some testing, they recently learned breast cancer was not only back, but had metastasized to her lungs, hip, and lymph nodes. More tests are in the works, but because of her very unusual case, it is taking her Oncologist and surgeon time to come up with a treatment plan tailored to achieve the best result.


Paula has been a family friend for years, and is loved by every life she touches. She's one of the hardest working people I've ever met, but due to cancer and special precautions pertaining to Covid, Paula is unable to work. Fortunately, Paula's wife Tammy is able to work from home, but they aren't sure how long she'll be able to do so. They are a two-income household, and it's critical to lessen the burden for this family.


Among many others in the community, I want Paula, Tammy, and their kids to have a wonderful Christmas. Also, assistance with groceries and other household bills are needed. They certainly deserve our love and support as Paula goes to battle once again. I realize this is a difficult time for many, but if you're in a position to donate, please consider doing so.
