Let’s Support Makenna’s Recovery!!

On Friday, December 27, Makenna’s life was profoundly changed.

Makenna, a Senior at Keuka College was home on break when she suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to her face,ears,neck,hands,abdomen and chest.

Makenna’s strength and resilience has been an inspiring hope for all.

As she remains in the ICU…her remarkable spirit and determination are a testament to her unbreakable will.

Makenna, a high honor student,talented artist and skilled crafter is set to graduate in May 2025.

Aside from her talents and academic abilities, Makenna is also the catcher for the Keuka Wolves Softball Team, she has given her time to serve the next generation as both a coach and a mentor. Her kindness and compassion has touched countless lives and this is our chance to show just how much we appreciate the ways in which she has made a difference.

As her family is now faced with the challenge of navigating this unexpected turn of events, we are calling on this community to come together to help alleviate the financial burden they are facing. Makenna remains in the ICU over 70 miles from home and the expenses for travel, lodging and food add quickly.
