Let’s Support Ilianet at Duct Tape & Mexilog

Hi, my name is Brancao and for those of you that have been to La Saladita in Mexico, you’ve probably met and/or seen Ilianet graciously gliding and dancing on her longboard on most days.

Ilianet is a local surfer who was introduced to surfing when she was 14 years old and immediately fell in love with it. Since then, she hasn’t stopped surfing even while working at her family restaurant and taking care of her own family. Ilianet works hard but her surfing is effortless and inspiring. Her love for surf can be felt in her warm smile and open embrace when riding a wave or hosting customers at her restaurant. And her Chilli Releños are to die for!

Ilianet’s longboarding progression has grown tremendously and she has been invited to participate in 2022 Duct Tape Invitation and Mexilog in Sayulita, Mexico in April this year. She is thankful for the opportunity and grateful and honoured to represent her hometown and surf spot of La Saladita, Guerrero. While Ilianet has some support available to attend these events, she needs financial support to help with travel and accommodations, so she can focus on her surf.

And this is where we come into the picture: we’re hoping to raise funds to cover Ilianet’s travel costs for these events, as we want the world to enjoy Ilianet’s graceful and joyful demeanour in the waves, and hopefully launch her surfing progression even further! Thanks and ‘buenas ollas’!
