Let's support Erica Rosenson ❤️

On behalf of the Rosenson family, we would like to reach out to friends, family and the community to help support Erica and her children. Erica is an incredible mother to her two children Ethan (10) and Julia (7) and an amazing special education preschool teacher who has dedicated her career to helping young children. In September 2022, Erica had to unexpectedly leave work due to the detection of a brain tumor that caused her to have some seizures as well as some other side effects. In January 2023, she underwent brain surgery at Mass General Hospital to have the tumor removed. The tumor was rare and had to be sent to the NIH/National Cancer Institute. After months of waiting for the pathology results (and hoping to have naming rights) Erica has recently learned that she has a rare type of Grade 3 infiltrating glioma and will need to have 6 weeks of radiation and 6 months of chemotherapy. She also received the devastating news that the tumor will grow back and she will need to keep treating it until it can no longer be treated. Those who know Erica know that she is a warrior and will fight this with all the strength, sass, and incredible sense of humor she has.

Erica has been touched by the support her family, friends, and colleagues have given her during this time. We want to continue to do everything we can to help offset medical costs and alleviate some of the burdens she will face in the next 6 months. Erica will need to focus her time and energy on healing and caring for her children. She would like to spend as much quality time with Ethan and Julia as she can while she can. We are asking for your support to help Erica achieve this by minimizing the worry of medical and household expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial strain for Erica’s family while she is going through treatment.
