Hi friends,

As many of you know, our fun loving friend, father, husband, bricklayer, professional fisherman, Eli Asta has had extensive damage to his heart.

In 2019 he caught a severe case of pneumonia which allowed the virus to get into his blood stream. The virus imbedded into the left side of his heart, killing the cells. This, over time, has led to heart failure. His heart is only pumping at a 10% ejection fraction. His doctors are recommending a heart transplant, and he is now in that decision stage.

Eli is now out of work due to his condition and without his union health care the bills are piling up. We are organizing this GoFundMe to help alleviate the burden of the family’s bills, and medical expenses.

Over the past few months, so many of you have asked Eli how you can help, and this is it!
