Support Coach Mike Saxton in His Fight Against Cancer

Mike Saxton, beloved coach of the North Boone Youth Baseball and Softball 12U Pumas, has been courageously battling cancer since his diagnosis in December 2021. What began as colon and liver cancer has sadly spread to his bladder, lungs, lymph nodes, leg, and near his heart. Despite undergoing radiation and now antibody treatments—with more ahead—Mike continues to fight with strength and determination.

Mike is more than a coach—he’s a mentor, role model, and a vital part of our community. His passion for coaching has inspired countless young athletes and brought joy and purpose to his life. Off the field, he’s a devoted husband, father of four, and proud grandfather. His amazing wife has stood by him every step of the way, doing everything imaginable to support him and keep their family strong through unimaginable challenges.
