Lets support Chris with one more visit to Texas.

Life for all of us has the
unknowns...unfortunately for my husband, Chris, it is now about the unknown of life itself.
On April 12 2021, the day before his 63rd birthday, we were given the diagnosis that Chris has a 6x3cm (3x1.5 inch) brain tumor that covers the lower left back two lobes. Due to this location it is in-operable. The risks out way the benefit for doing a biopsy to determine treatment.
Chris was born in Alaska on a U.S Airforce base and raised in Texas from one years of age with his military family. We met in Texas then married in 1993. We have 3 amazing kids, Joshua 24, Lukas 18 and Ruby 15. We lived in Texas until Chris brought me and our kids back to Canada 18 years ago when my father got sick with cancer. When my Dad passed away Chris wanted us to live here for me to be with my Mom and family.
Chris misses his homeland dearly and now more then ever I would like to give something special to him, to take him for another visit to Texas. He is longing to see our oldest son who lives there, his sister, extended family and close circle of friends.
To spend time together complete as a family while he’s still capable. This trip would mean the world to him to visit all his friends and family once again while he can.
My obstacle is the cost for all of us to go. Travel cost for four, accommodation, meals, exchange rate, travel insurance, and so on. I have organized this fundraiser in hopes of making this trip happen for him.
I want to bring him some joy and something to look forward to in taking his mind off the unknown of this diagnosis,
while Chris is still feeling good and our daughter is off school on summer break. We are looking to go this August 1 2021.
Also with this kind of diagnosis comes with the unknown time of when he won't be able to continue his work and medical costs that are not covered. Being he is the main provider it will be difficult to maintain daily bills and expenses.
We are not of the asking kind and this is a hard thing to do but to be able to give him this Holiday would bring so much joy. Financial relief to our family would be so appreciated as well and we would be so grateful to have our time spent together with a bit less stress.
Our Taylor Tribe thanks you for taking the time to read our story.
There is no donation that is too small and if circumstances prevent you from donating, please share this post to as many people as you can to help. I also want to add if donating isn't possible Prayers are very welcomed. We believe in the power of prayer and God's goodness. We will fight to kick this brain tumor.
