Rosie and Vincents brave little Arlo has been through more than any child should. He was diagnosed with craniosynostosis, a condition where the bones in a baby’s skull fuse too early, causing dangerous pressure to build in the brain.
Sadly, Arlo’s condition was caught late, and he needed major corrective surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Surgeons had to carefully break his skull into pieces to allow it to reshape and relieve the pressure. At first, everything looked positive — but just two weeks later, Arlo developed a serious infection around one of the plates in his skull.
He was rushed back to GOSH for emergency surgery to remove the infection and re-close the wound. Once again, our little fighter came through, and we were so relieved to have him home.
Unfortunately, his scar has now started to reopen, and Arlo is back at GOSH for further investigations and potentially more surgery. For Arlo and his family, this means long, stressful journeys from Cornwall to London, as well as time away from home, work, and everyday life.
This journey has been incredibly tough — physically, emotionally, and financially. We’re raising funds to help support Arlo and his family through the ongoing hospital stays, travel costs, and recovery.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and help ease the burden during this difficult time. If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing Arlo’s story to spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, kindness, and support. ❤️
