Let's Stay Positive with Abby

Our colleague, teammate and friend Abby (Smith) Talley, of Romeoville, Illinois, faces severe health challenges, just having been diagnosed with breast cancer that also is in her lymph nodes at 26 years old. She is unable to work as a teacher at Romeoville High School. Her husband Brandon, a police officer, will also need to take days away from his new job during Abby's treatment. Abby will have 20 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by surgery and radiation.

 

Abby and Brandon recently married in May 2020 and welcomed a beautiful daughter, Leia, in July 2021. Her devastating medical diagnosis is putting a strain on their young family, and we are humbly asking for your financial support that they will need in the immediate future.

 

Abby is a graduate of Romeoville High School, where she also is the assistant girls' basketball coach. She graduated from McKendree University in 2018 after being a women's basketball student-athlete.
