Let’s show up for Tina
Tina is a 31-year-old loving, vibrant, and deeply kindhearted daughter, sister, and friend. She’s worked tirelessly and with passion through undergraduate and graduate school, recently beginning her career as a mental health clinician after earning her master’s degree. She shows up for everyone she encounters with warmth, empathy, and genuine care.
About a month ago, Tina received a life-changing diagnosis: a rare form of ovarian cancer that affects only about 1% of the population. What began as a routine check-up quickly turned into emergency surgery—and a discovery that shook her and everyone who loves her.
Since then, her world has been a whirlwind of medical appointments, emotional processing, and difficult decisions. She’s had to confront the impact this diagnosis may have on one of her deepest dreams—becoming a mother—while undergoing multiple procedures to preserve her fertility before starting chemotherapy. Her final fertility procedure, a surgery, was just completed this week.
Despite everything, Tina continues to still show up for her loved ones, check in on others to see how they’re feeling, and manage her business—even as she faces the physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion that comes with this journey. She’s in the earliest stages of her therapy career, and this diagnosis has added a heavy, unexpected weight.
She finds joy in dancing, learning, laughing, and spending time by the ocean with her family in the Florida Keys. There’s never a doubt that the people in her life feel her love and support.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
We’re raising funds to help Tina cover:
• Medical bills and treatment-related costs
• Fertility preservation expenses
• Potential time off work and recovery support
• Daily living expenses to reduce financial stress during this time
Tina hopes to continue working through chemo if she’s able, but there are still many unknowns. These funds will provide her the space and support she needs to heal—without the added pressure of financial hardship.
If you’ve ever been comforted by someone who truly sees you, listens with compassion, or holds space for you no matter what—that’s who she is.
Let’s wrap her in that same kind of love now.
Anything you can give, share, or send with care means the world.
Thank you so much for helping support someone who spends every day supporting others.
