Support for Heather & Dale
I want to tell you about my friend Heather. She’s a student at McCutcheon High School (Go Mavs!) and lives here in Lafayette with her dad, Dale. A few years ago, Heather’s mom passed away, and Dale has been raising her on his own ever since.
Heather has cerebral palsy, and while life hasn’t been easy, Dale has worked hard to give her the care and stability she needs. But after years of living on a fixed income and dealing with financial strain, they’ve hit a difficult season.
They’re also a part of my church, and many of us have seen the bond they share and the strength they show in the face of challenges.
Right now, they need a little help from friends, neighbors, and anyone who feels moved to step in.
I believe in the power of community and the way God weaves people together at just the right time. Even the smallest act of kindness can make a huge difference. As Mother Teresa said, “Do small things with great love.” ♥️
If you’re able, please consider coming alongside Heather and Dale. And if you can’t give, sharing their story is another beautiful way to show love and support.
