It's never too late too late to be a surf champion

I am a 42-year-old entrepreneur from Sweden named Maria Allebring. I used to run three successful restaurants, but after losing everything during the pandemic I discovered a new passion - surfing. Although I started late in life, I quickly fell in love with the sport and worked hard to improve my skills. After only surfing for two years I competed in the Swedish championships, made it to the finals and beat two of the three women currently on the national team. An achievement many didn’t think would be possible.

My goal now is to win the Swedish championships, become a member of the national team, and compete in the world championships. However, to achieve my dreams I need financial support. Getting sponsors is really hard and so far I have funded my training and competitions with savings. It has taken me far but now I need your help to make my dreams come true.

My dream of competing at the highest level is not just about my personal goals; it is about inspiring others to follow their dreams, no matter their age or background. I want to show that anything is possible with hard work, dedication, and support.
