Let's show Scot Bol some love!

On Monday, June 27th, during a Pro Roe gathering outside of the Building for Women, Scot Bol, longtime community activist and human rights supporter, reacted to a car speeding towards the crowds by hitting the car with his beloved walking stick. Thinking about other incidents of people using their cars as weapons and not knowing the person's intentions, Scot's reaction was quick in hopes of protecting all of us from potential danger.

 

Scot has taken responsibility for his actions and is hoping for an opportunity for restorative justice with the driver of the car. He understands that the situation was likely scary for her and is apologetic for any stress his actions caused her.

 

Scot will likely be charged by Duluth Police for the event, despite his intentions of saving hundreds of people.

 

Now is OUR time to show up for Scot, like he did for all of us. Scot is in need of a new walking stick and financial assistance to cover his legal fees.
