Hello, our names are Landon & Faith. This evening, as Faith was scrolling TikTok, she happened to be the first to stumble across a video of a man named RJ expressing his readiness to take his life. He had posted several videos back to back expressing this. He was in immense distress. Faith reached out to him pleading for him to stay & he responded with his phone number. They got in touch & Faith, Landon & RJ did a 3 way call for 45 minutes, just loving on RJ & validating him. Much was shared in confidence but RJ said it would be Ok to share that he is on the brink of homelessness & has 28 days to figure things out. He is currently unemployed & unable to due to his need to address his mental health. He expressed that life has no purpose. We shared with him our relatable experiences & wanted to show him that life does have beautiful moments & that if he will allow us, we would like to show him how communities can band together & that he is loved & wanted on this earth. Please help us get this man through the next month. Faith is a social worker & will work on further resources for RJ, but for now let’s get this man’s top barrier out of the way. Please consider helping this man out - or at the very least, sharing this story. I do not believe in coincidences & believe Faith was meant to be one of the first to come across his video.
