Let’s show Rico and his family we have their back
On Sunday, April 25th, we were sad to find out Rico had been in a very serious motorcycle accident. This accident occurred in Jefferson around 1 pm, closing route 15. Rico was rushed to Morristown memorial hospital, and Alicia received a call she’d never in a million years would want to receive, leaving her devastated and petrified for her kids also .
Rico has been in ICU with bleeding of the brain, a fractured cheek bone, a fractured nose bone, a fractured skull, and Sunday night he was intubated. He has absolutely no recollection of anything, or even that he was in Jefferson on his motorcycle and the doctors are saying he may never again remember any of it due to the severity of his concussion. Rico does recognize Alicia, his wife, and seems to be responsive when asked to squeeze someone’s hand etc. but he is very disoriented and confused not knowing where he is and doesn’t understand what’s going on.
Rico is a retired marine and national guard soldier, a father of 5, a loving husband, brother, and son who needs us tremendously right now. Anyone who knows Rico knows that he is a fighter and how much his loved ones mean to him. Rico currently does not have health insurance and we don’t know when he’ll be able to return to work. The last thing Rico’s family shouldhave to worry about right now is how they are going to afford the hefty medical bills that are going to come along with the care that he so desperately needs right now.
Any and all donations will be used for medical bills and helping alicia maintain regular bills while Rico is not working. Please keep Rico in your prayers! Please also pray for strength and God to be with alicia, their children, and family. Please share this as well because word of mouth is so strong!
LETS GO RICO, YOU GOT THIS!!
