Let’s show Nick Meyers some love! #bigblessed

If you know Nick Meyers, then you know he’s one of the good guys and would give anyone the shirt off his back. In fact, I’ve actually seen him do it. Nick is a devoted and proud father of four beautiful children. Nick didn’t exactly have the easiest life and you could say he grew up the hard way. Nick was locked in a cycle of this street mentality of guns and violence combined with addiction. I’m April of 2020, Nick decided he was going to try something different. He was going to really try and get sober. To say Nick worked hard wouldn’t do it justice. He overcame obstacle after obstacle in game with the odds stacked against him. The transformation Nick has made is nothing short of a miracle! It has been incredible to watch! Nick has been helping the next suffering addict ever since. Nick has changed countless lives. I mean Nick basically trademarked “big blessed ” I could go on and on about how proud we are of Nick; dedicated father, recovery advocate and just all around solid human. Nick needs our help. A couple months ago Nick was diagnosed with cancer.

More recently Nick was diagnosed with a rare bone disease called Melorheostosis. This affects about 1 in 1 million people. Nick had his first of two surgeries on September 15th. Nick has been going to The James Cancer Center two to three times a week for the past few months and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Due to all Nicks medical issues he hasn’t been able to work very much and unfortunately life and expenses don’t stop. Nick could really use our help right now as a community.
