We all know Melissa Standard from our different interactions with her. From soccer, kids' schools, work, family time and just because she's a WONDERFUL human being. Melissa recently had surgery (lumpectomy) to remove a lump in her left breast. The doctors seem to be confident they have removed all the cancer. She will return to the doctors to find out when she will start radiation and chemo. She is in great positive spirits and repeatedly tells me she doesn't need anything. But I'm sure everyone who knows her would love to find a way to show that they care. This is especially for those who don't live close enough to visit/deliver food/drive her to doctor visits etc. Let's send her some love.
