Our dearest Marlena has been suffering from a spinal disorder for several years now - Severe Lumbar Spinal Stenosis.

Chronic pain and reduced mobility has taken her away from working in the kitchen - and her love of cooking for others. And although she currently has a job that does not require her to stand on her feet all day, the pain continues. Insurance is not approving a pain blocking injection which is the first step towards her ultimate treatment journey… surgery, and thus leaving her on a long path of expensive pain management to keep her as mobile as possible.
Making the choice between paying rent or much needed medication in not something anyone should have to make.
Finances have become tight for everyone. For Marlena, it has become a razor thin line. Please consider contributing to this fund to help ensure both her rent AND medication are covered for the next couple of months.
